Terms of Service
Short version: Use Tripva to plan trips. Don't misuse the service. AI-generated itineraries are suggestions — always verify important details like visa requirements, prices, and opening times before travelling.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tripva at tripva.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Tripva is operated by Futurizta Tech Sdn Bhd, Malaysia ("Tripva", "we", "us").
2. The Service
Tripva is an AI-powered travel planning tool that generates personalised trip itineraries based on your inputs. The service includes:
- AI-generated day-by-day itineraries
- Hotel and activity suggestions with booking links
- Budget tracking and planning tools
- Shareable trip plan links
- Push notification reminders (optional)
- Pro features available via paid subscription
3. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer
Trip plans are generated by AI (OpenAI's language models). You must be aware that:
- Prices may be inaccurate — hotel rates, ticket prices, and transport costs shown are estimates and may not reflect current pricing
- Opening hours and availability may change — always verify before visiting
- Visa and entry requirements are not provided and are your sole responsibility to verify
- Recommendations are not endorsements — we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or availability of any recommended business or activity
- The AI can make mistakes — treat all generated content as a starting point, not authoritative travel advice
Tripva is not a licensed travel agent. We are a software tool. Always consult official sources and travel advisories before travelling.
4. User Accounts
You may use Tripva without an account. Creating an account allows you to save and manage multiple trips. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate information when registering
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service at scale
- Use automated tools to generate large volumes of trip plans (beyond normal personal use)
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Submit content that is harmful, fraudulent, or violates any third party's rights
- Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or access controls
6. Subscription and Payments
Free Plan
The free plan allows limited trip generation and basic features as described on the pricing page.
Pro Plan
The Pro subscription unlocks additional features. Billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at the stated billing interval.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund for new Pro subscriptions if you are not satisfied. Contact hello@tripva.app within 7 days of your first charge. We do not offer refunds for renewals after the initial period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.
7. Affiliate Links
Some booking links (hotels, activities, transport) are affiliate links. If you make a booking through these links, Tripva may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence which options are shown — recommendations are generated purely by AI based on your trip inputs.
8. Intellectual Property
Tripva and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Futurizta Tech Sdn Bhd. The AI-generated trip plans created for you are yours to use for personal travel planning.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and process your inputs solely to operate the service.
9. Shared Trip Links
When you generate a shareable link, your trip plan is stored in a publicly accessible location (GitHub Gist). Anyone with the link can view the plan. Do not include sensitive personal information in your trip details if you intend to share the link.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Tripva is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of AI-generated itineraries
- We are not liable for any bookings made through third-party links, cancellations, or travel disruptions
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Futurizta Tech Sdn Bhd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@tripva.app.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
